Doorway

Large scale commissioned painting.

Colour scheme required was blue, with a slight violet underlay. Variations of the colour depend on the lighting angle and time of day. The actual image was inspired by circular doorways of Asian tradition.

The large scale image meant to engage the viewer into the centre of perspective, drawing them in and off the "ledge" into the clouds.
