Acrylic on Canvas 2004 One of my original textural/impesto experiements. I was inspired by the raw and rough textures of tree trunks. The image is centered with a face amidts the flaming bark. Friends and well-wishers of the image were either intrigue or repulsed by it. The "face" brought a whimsical curious character to the image, while others saw a demonic representation. It currently resides with my friend Tim, who is in the horticultural industry. SIZE 18 x 24 inches
