Origami Paper
2005 - 2006

These are a sample of a few Sonobe type Kusudamas which I produced for some of my workmates (day job) to adorn on their computers. I figured the workplace needed a bit of colour.

They are made out of Sonobe units, which are interlocking pieces. Ball has 60 of them. Each "spike" is 2 units. The colour variations are only limited by availability and arrangement. The beauty of these kusudamas, are that they do not require any glue to keep them in their ball shape (but they do break apart if force is applied).
